Day 1: Arrive Delhi

Upon your arrival in the Indian capital city of New Delhi, you will be greeted by our representative at the International Airport. After a warm welcome, you will be escorted to your hotel.

Day 2: Day in Delhi

Today, enjoy the day discovering Delhi, pacing through the city which is as historic as modern, like 2 sides of the same coin!

Enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Old Delhi, which includes a visit to Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, ‘moonlit square’, one of the largest trading centres of India; Also, drive past Red Fort, the place that marked the announcement of India’s freedom from the British Raj.

Later in the afternoon, discover the modern city of New Delhi, which includes a visit to Qutab Minar, a fine example of Indo-Islamic architecture and India’s tallest brick minaret; Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, the largest Sikh temple of Delhi, with a gold dome, still in active worship; Photo stop at India Gate, the war memorial arch built in honour of the soldiers who died in the first world war; drive past President's House, Parliament House and other Government Secretariat Buildings, the most imposing features of Lutyen’s Delhi. Akshardham Temple. Akshardham Temple is located on bank of river Yamuna. The Temple is included in the list of Seven Wonders of the 21 st Century by the prestigious Reader’s Digest magazine. It is the one of the best built temples in India and among must visit tourist places in Delhi.

Day 3: Delhi - Agra(Approx.../3 - 4 Hrs)

After breakfast, embark on your drive to Agra, city of the world-famous Taj Mahal. Upon arrival in Agra, check in at your hotel and freshen up.

This afternoon, visit the Agra fort, lying across the river Yamuna, built in red sandstone with magnificent palaces, halls of public and private audience and beautiful gardens.

Then, experience the awe-inspiring beauty of the eternal symbol of love, the Taj Mahal. Often referred to as a poem in white marble, Taj Mahal displays the saga of love between Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. You may wish to stay at the Taj Mahal, to see the glistening white marble beauty by sunset.

Day 4: Agra - Jaipur (Approx.. / 5-6 Hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Jaipur, one of the most well planned cities of India. This capital city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the ‘Pink City’, was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, in 1727 A.D.

En route to Jaipur, make a brief stop to visit Fatehpur Sikri, the red sandstone Mughal palatial complex. Within the complex lies a mosque built by the Mughal Emperor Akbar and dedicated to Sheikh Salim Chisti, a Muslim Sufi Saint who blessed Emperor Akbar with a son.

Day 5: Day in Jaipur

This morning, visit Amber fort, a fine amalgamation of Hindu and Muslim architecture and ornamentation, built in the 16th century. To ascend the fort, you may choose to walk, drive or take an elephant ride.

This afternoon, visit the City Palace complex with its various museums where you can see a beautiful collection of Mughal costumes, weapons and miniature paintings. Then visit the fascinating Jantar Mantar, the ancient astronomical observatory built by the Maharaja of Jaipur, which is the largest stone observatory in the world. Also drive past Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds), a remarkable five storied building along the main street of the old city with semi-octagonal and delicate honey-combed sandstone windows.

Day 6: Jaipur – Varanasi(By Flight)

Today early morning, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Varanasi.

Upon arrival in Varanasi, check in at your hotel. This evening, experience a rickshaw ride to the ghats to enjoy the grand ‘Aarti’ ceremony at Dasaswamedh Ghat, conducted every-day at sunset by white-robed priests. The young priests sway in seemingly choreographed movements, worshiping the river goddess with incense, flowers, and earthen lamps.

Day 7: Day in Varanasi

Enjoy an early morning boat ride on the Holy River Ganges. See the ‘bathing ghats’ where thousands of pilgrims pay homage to the Sun God by immersing themselves in the holy water of River Ganges, and the ‘burning ghats’ where cremations are conducted.

After breakfast, enjoy the temple tour of Varanasi including Bharat Mata Temple & Banaras Hindu University. Followed by the visit of Sarnath, the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon. Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century BC to 12 th century AD. The Ashoka pillar of Sarnath is the national emblem of India. Visit the ruins, stupa, Buddhist temple and the Sarnath Museum. (Closed on Friday)

Day 8: Varanasi – Goa(By Flight)

This morning you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Goa.

REMARKS

  • Taj Mahal is closed on Friday
  • Check-in, check-out time at hotels is usually 12:00 noon
  • Domestic flights in the Indian subcontinent impose a baggage restriction of 15kgs for check in and 07kgs for cabin baggage
  • Price includes only those items specified in the itinerary
  • Price is quoted per person basis, in US Dollars, on Single / Double / Triple sharing basis
  • In case of any significant foreign exchange fluctuations or amendment in local Government taxes, or any fuel hike, we reserve the right to adjust the tour price accordingly.
  • In-case of any cancellation, deviation, or delay in journey due to weather, traffic, political conditions and / or other force majeure events, we will make alternative arrangements, with client’s approval, in the best interest of clients. If such alternative arrangements incur any extra charge, the same shall be borne by the client. The client will not be entitled to refund for any missed sightseeing resulting out of such events, which are beyond our control.
